The amount did reach my account here a few days later, at par.

I am thankful to them.

The last grievance is that my invoice was for Rs 5,061/50 and they have somehow paid me an amount of Rs 4,703/- only by some logic. They are not telling me how they reached at this word count while I have told them project-by-project, file-by-file how I had reached at my word count and I have even sent them the individual stripped down files, all of them, that they could just open in MS Word and find Tools-WordCount.

So, they have shortpaid me by Rs 358.50 and are not telling the reason why they are doing it like this.

There is a hindi saying “हाथी निकल जाने दिया, पूँछ पकड़ के बैठ गये।” (word translation: Mammoth Elephant was allowed to pass by, but now not allowing its tiny tail to pass.) You must have heard this saying and might have wondered what it was about. Well, Somya Translators are a live, 21st Century, 3rd Millennium, oven-fresh example of that.

Anyway, now that major part of payment is received, I would not waste much of their and my and your time further following about that. I am deleting major part of this blog that had several issues, but I am only retaining the part clarifying about the word count because my Rs 358.50 are still due on them.
